Der Himmel voller Geigen

“Der Himmel voller Geigen”
is a German phrase – the literal translation means “The heaven is full of violins”
and the rough translation means “He sees things through rose-colored glasses.”
This is one of the latest collaborations Lynn and I made - and it fits too perfectly to the theme for not to be shown: Music, Bollywood, instruments .... all we need for this week!

  4. Oooo... I really really like this one! Being from Texas, I like the armadillo & the prickly pear. Having lived for one long-ago summer in India, I like the infusion of Hindu culture. And having a close friend who's both a German translator & a string musicisn, I like that part (and so does she!). And as Ron said, great colors and movement. You two should do a whole series based on German idioms!
