Scraps

I buy these old scraps sometimes when I see them - useful for certain types of collaging. Some Xmas images here seems appropriate.

    Good mix. The newsagents used to sell these. I often wonder who illustrated these scraps and where they came from.

    I love scrap...I have a couple of turn of the century scrapbooks filled with scrap. I love the word scrap. Everything scrap. If I had a dog (again) I might name them Scrappy! At any rate I think I will research the illustrators of scrap. I have many books about early illustrators (who created images for children's books and postcards and maybe there is something in those books about scrap)!
