I'm an antiques/collectibles dealer. When the Warhol cookie jar collection went to auction you can bet sellers marked up their cookie jars so much I could not afford to obtain one for myself or for resale. To this day prices are still high on certain jars that were known to be a part of Warhol's collection. Ah the power of celebrity!

Andy's house was full of cookie jars apparently. After he died they sold them all at Sotheby's or somewhere for millions. Nice one!
